Tig Bitty / Antecessor @ The Miniplex

The first of the monthly QUEER VIBES dance nights at Richard’s Goat in Arcata set the bar high. TIG BITTY from PDX brought their “punk pussy talk sass-hop” in a big way. Backed by beats evoking Big Freedia these two ladies tore it up with their songs about pussy bangin, booty shaking and creeper pick up lines — they are directly responsible for my week long biscuits and gravy kick and I think of them often.

ANTECESSOR warmed up the evening with their interstellar, john weise reminiscent chill-noise that would be great to nod out to if shooting dope is your idea of a good time, or maybe you just need something to meditate to—it would work with that too.
