It was a pleasure being able to watch GUNSAFE evolve as a band while they lived in Humboldt, and makes catching their seasonal performances that much sweeter. Stella and crew have really come into their own as a down home, foot stomping, all american country folk outfit who can still make you wanna cry. Sweet vocal harmonies, guest Holly Ryno’s musical saw, and their official dancer make GUNSAFE a definite local favorite, do not miss an opportunity to see them in the future! JORDAN SMART opened the show that night, just rolling into town not a week before like a bearded tumble weed who magnetically attracted some of GUNSAFE’s players and some other friends to accompany him for a one night only performance. We’re lucky he decided to make Arcata his home for awhile and you best make it out to catch him when he plays again soon!
