My Pizza My World / Robbers Roost / Diego Arevello / GORK @ Farmhouse
Every kid who’s ever hopped a train, real or imagined, was stoked as fuck for this show at the Farm House in June of 2015. Billed as part of an ongoing “fireside folk series,” the night was just lovely and was opened up by locals DIEGO AREVELLO who croaked out some country jams about life on the hill and Arcata’s own inter-dimensional spoken word poet GORK. Last minute addition dirt punx MOSUL BRIGADE played a set featuring body positivity and sweet jams.
MY PIZZA MY WORLD featuring Whitney from DAYS-N-DAZE sounded top notch and seriously way better than DnD, y’all gotta check em out. ROBBER’S ROOST did an all acoustic set for their first time playing Farm House and was backed up by MY PIZZA’s Gray Alldayo on Banjo — even though he had a broken hand he still killed it pulling double duty in 2 acts that night.
